Gorefield Scarecrow Competition 2009 Gorefield held its 2nd Annual Scarecrow Competition in August hoping to build on the success of last year when 35 wonderful exhibits were displayed around the village and parish. Judging took place during the week of 22nd to 29th August 2009. Results and presentation of trophies was at the Annual Flower, Vegetable and Craft Show which was held on September 5th 2009.
